Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I)
Our interoperability solution incorporates C4I design
architecture principles. Through the use of cutting-edge technology, C4I gives
commanders a complete scope of information including data, voice and video.
This allows first responders and troops on the ground access to the information
and guidance they need to succeed. Most significant is our use of commercial
off-the-shelf (COTS) computer and telecommunication system technologies. This
design philosophy allows us to maintain current technology in all our products.
This also enables agencies to keep pace with emerging technologies while
keeping costs down and meeting their funding requirements.
To ensure remote network connectivity with guaranteed
dedicated bandwidth, we contract with commercial satellite Internet Service
Providers (ISP). This allows the mobile units to establish communications
nearly anywhere and anytime without sacrificing satellite bandwidth to superior
jurisdictions during an emergency situation.
